Description

Argentine Osage Orange is much larger and higher quality than American Osage Orange.
Rich Yellow-orange in color, it is very stable, durable, and strong.
These AVERAGE 5ish x 7ish inches and 5/8″ thick.
Or.
127ish x 175.00ish mm x 18mm thick.
And weigh 13 ounces or 365 grams.
This batch has a Roman Ogee routed edge like the picture above.
(the first batch had a cove edge… these are nicer.)
NO GLUEUPS! Means no glue lines. Solid wood.

The above piece was done using the Roly LaserMATIC XW.
I used the 10W power setting on the laser module.
The image is on one layer in Lightburn.
But that layer has two sublayers, making a total of three.
The Lightburn settings for the engraving were:
First pass was 4000mm/m at 70% power with a 318 LPI and one pass in Fill mode.
Second pass was 720 mm/m at 10 power with 254 LPI and one pass in Fill mode.
Third pass was 720mm/m at 10% power with 254 LPI and one pass in Line mode.
Then a finish coat of lacquer.
